Mother's Day -- Gary did good!

Well, I know it's a little late to brag about Mother's Day, but I felt I had to since this was such an accomplishment for Gary.
Gary has only given me 2 pieces of jewelry prior to this one: my promise ring, and my engagement/wedding rings...so you guys should have seen how giddy I was on Mother's Day.

Thank You Mother's Day for bringing such wonderful surprises!

Weekend with the Taylors!

This Friday, we went to Waco to visit some friends that we had not seen in a long time! Their baby boy, Ian, is 2 months older than Andrew and about 6 inches taller than him. I guess you could say they had fun, but I think Andrew felt threatened by Ian and his ginormous hugs and smiles!
Brady was trying to capture them on his iPhone, those are his stinky socks that Ian and Andrew were playing with.
Look how much taller Ian is than Andrew!!!

Here's one of Ian's ginormous hugs...it was so funny!

Snack time for the boys....with vanilla wafers. Davin, the Taylor's dog, kept wanting to snack with them too and at one point snagged Andrew's and Ian's cookies from their hands. He also loved to licked their faces and hands...

Ian showing us how he throws his ball...

Andrew is in Ian's high chair eating pizza! We had to prop him up with some towels because it was definitely too big.

Here's Ian flirting with a girl in the restaurant, he's waving bye bye and he's blowing some kisses. He was the star at dinner! =)

The many positions of my sleeping baby....

While on the changing table, he wouldn't let me button his crotch area, he was getting fussy so I let him be and that's how he fell asleep. Gary decided it was funny and he took the picture.

This last one is my favorite...

Fort Worth Arts Festival!

Since my last post came out all whacked when I tried to venture out on the placement of pictures, I think I'll just stick with centering them... haha.

Here are some pictures of the Arts Festival in downtown Ft. Worth during the April 18-19th weekend...

Caren went with us and she loves to take pictures of Andrew. He's so photogenic and ornery, he cracks us up so much!
We had fun this weekend. The only bad part was that we had to wait 20 minutes for a restroom with a baby changing station at Barnes & Noble with a stinky diaper =(
