Yes, our NASA family vacation happened almost 3 years ago. As I previously have posted, I'm trying to update this little blog of mine. I have many many photos just sitting in my hard drive and I really miss blogging.
Our trip to the Johnson Space Center was a first for me and the kids. Gary had been a couple of times with his classes as he is an educator. He would drive the bus and chaperone. That year, I begged him to take us all.
With Gary's birthday coming up, his birthday present included the LEGO Saturn V which had barely come out and I was having a hard time finding it in stores.
This thing was so impressive, y'all! It was massive!
I couldn't even begin taking a picture of the entire thing -- the warehouse was big enough to accommodate the rocket launcher (?) much less an amateur photographer.
We spent ALL day learning fun facts, walking around and doing the hands-on displays, and having a blast looking at all things Space related!
No stroller meant when little girl crashed, she crashed landed on Dad.
Of course as soon as she spotted the penny crusher, she was alive and alert ready to turn that crank!
Thanks for bearing with me through these old pics! Hope you enjoyed regardless!
