🦄 A Unicorn Riding Birthday Girl 🦄

This has been a long time coming...over a month now 😁. A lot of things have been going on in our lives and I'm finally putting these up! So rejoice and enjoy...

These are from her birthday party where my sister came through with not 1 pony, but 2!!! Elena was absolutely obsessed with these cute furry 'unicorns'. 

And yes, I handmade the unicorn horn, the skirt, the girl, and even photographed and edited all the pictures. I am woman, hear me roar! I do have to thank my sister again for handling the unicorn. She is the best, folks! Enjoy.

There will be more posts to come (I promise). I am finally getting down and dirty to making a calendar and hoping to post at least twice a week.

Valentine's Day Mural

I love making these posts! Sweet, short, specific, little posts.... I can tackle these no problem! But please, before we get started, look back at 2016 Valentine's day shoot to reminisce if you want and the boys mailing love cards here a few years back.

Okay, now on to a new project! We have a shed in our backyard with this empty bare wall. I've thought about making it a rock climbing wall. Painting a mural. Mounting planters all over it. Etc.

But I figured using it for every major holiday's background would be more fun. 

So here you go, a Valentine's Mural just for fun (behind the scenes pics at the bottom). 

And just so that this post doesn't disillusion anyone, photo shoot day isn't perfect.

She's 3 now....

That's right. Looooong ago, I had the most beautiful water birth in my mother's cozy home in the middle of rural Texas. It was literally a labor full of love. Family gathered, held, sang, swayed, and oooh-ed over her. In fact, everyone still Oooh's over her. She walks in and everyone's eyes light up. Her little eyes scan you to see if you're safe and she'll scurry behind me at times. She is the smartest little squishy thing I have ever made, owned, and loved. And today, she's 3. 

She wore a tiara around town and let everyone know that it was her birthday. She loved all the attention and invited complete strangers to her unicorn birthday party this weekend. 

An even longer time ago, I had little boys who were 3 too. Here they are in comparison to Elena. 

And here are all my nuggets that I squish and love and kiss and hug everyday because I can't get enough of them!!! 

I'm so honored to be their Mom. My hands are always full, but never in comparison to my heart!

Flashbacks and Throwbacks since 2008

I thought it would be fun to revisit and share some old photos from past Januaries. It's a lot less pressure than chronological posts (it's crushing me). The pictures are doing nothing but sitting in a hard drive so I thought I'd give it a go...
I get so caught up looking at these pictures and how far we've come and what amazing changes there have been for Gary and I. I definitely love him as my baby maker.
