She's been 4 for almost a year

Since her birthday will be here sooner than one can believe it, I thought I would post her 4th birthday pictures. Sorry! I'm trying to catch up, somewhat chronologically.
It's crazy looking back at these pics and realizing she'll be 5 soon. 5! *shocked face emoji* She's grown so much I can hardly believe it.
On her birth day, we woke the princess up and handed her a sugar-loaded pink cupcake and some brand new shiny earrings at breakfast. Her crazy hair needed to be tamed down to begin her birth day!

We loaded the kids in the van. We headed to the nearest mall and we covered her face so it would be a surprise for her.

We arrived at Build a Bear Workshop! She has never been there and I'm not sure if she realized what would happen. She picked out her most favorite Build-a-Bear with Moomie's help.
Jonah was also getting a Build-a-Bear for himself, a Pikachu. He was next in line and was really excited about the voice boxes.
She stuffed her Rainbow Kitty, but I'm not sure if she knew what was happening because she was either not amused or completely baffled.
She chose a little voice box and a little heart to put into her Rainbow Kitty.
Her kitty was all sewn up and next, was her shower and picking out her wardrobe!
Jonah had a tough time deciding what Pikachu was going to wear, too.
After many outfit changes, she finally decided on a couple of them.
She added an Elsa wig :D

We went back home and the weather was ugly! We decided that we could let her break her piñata inside the house---yikes, right?
Nothing terrible happened so I guess a small piñata inside was alright! She was happy.
Right after Christmas, the panic about what her birthday 'theme' will be, sets in. I'm in a bit of a panic about what to do, who to invite, etc but we're figuring that out. It'll be in two weeks. Hope to see some of y'all there.

Star in November

You wouldn't realize there's much to do in Star but we had a week of outdoors during our Thanksgiving break. We take a trip to central Texas once the holidays roll around and the spoiling of the grandkids begins.
Swinging from a good pecan tree, hunting in the freezing cold, shooting at targets, cousin time, making the boys haul new firewood to the porch, playing with Nana's Lego Christmas collection and goofing off in the only playground in town. It was a fun week. I was happy to use my camera...been missing it.
