🏠Gingerbread & Foam Houses 🏠

Well, the boys convinced me this year to get a Gingerbread House kit to decorate this year. I have become extremely hesitant to do projects like this because of the chaos of trying to keep up with 3 blabbering kids who all need my help simultaneaously -- it is sometimes a bit too much for me. But I went ahead and put my big girl panties on and tackled it in the most organized fashioned I know how: cupcake sheet to the rescue and lots of prayer. Andrew basically did not need help and so we're in that phase now (yeeesss!)
It was actually quite fun and I'm glad we all enjoyed it. Although Jonah was quite upset when I told him you don't customarily eat your house, so he pouted for a while. And this is after he licked the icing bag about 1,000 times and ate the most gummies.
Elena quickly abandoned her project to eat Twizzler's and let mommy finish it for her...
The kids were told to grab their houses and sit...I love how these pictures came out. And Andrew was being the usual weirdo so I included some extra outtakes for your pleasure.
 I made this one:
We have a foam Christmas town that we've slowly added to each year (I seriously don't have that much space!) and this year Elena made a very cute foam igloo. She loved it.
We hope you're all finished prepping for Christmas day, I know I'm so ready to head on out and visit with family and take lots more pictures! I love this time of year!
Stay tuned for our snow adventures next! Have a great week and have a blessed holiday! 💖
